
Michael Reola was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. By the age of fourteen, he was playing guitar in local rock bands in the Pittsburgh area rock scene. An already passionate composer, Michael attended Duquesne University and received a BA in Music Composition. After graduating with honors, he relocated to New York City where he continued to compose music and also received a Masters of Arts from New York University. In 2004, Michael moved to Los Angeles and began working for Emmy nominated television composer Danny Lux.
For the past several years, Michael Reola has been working as a film and television composer in Los Angeles. His music can be heard in a wide variety of films, television shows (networks such as ABC, NBC, FOX, WB, ABC Family, MTV), commercials, and concert venues.
Michael's most recent projects include the film “Last Call Before Sunset” (directed by Michael Baumgarten) and the new science fiction internet series “IQ-145,” (directed by Billy Dicksen –“One Tree Hill,” “Ally McBeal”) starring Thomas Dekkar (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”).
